Wrap Up: Navigating Through the Pandemic

Wrap Up: Navigating Through the Pandemic

FANOGCS just wrapped up a 3-part series of educational topics entitled “Navigating Through the Pandemic “. This includes updates on COVID19 which equipped us frontliners to gain new knowledge and ways to cope with this potent & novel Virus. We are not out of the woods yet, CDC predicts that COVID19 will still be here for untill fall of 2021 and we must all still need to be vigilant in following and complying with their guidelines in wearing masks, hand-washing, 6 ft social distancing and refrain from gathering of 10 people or more.. These conferences were held virtual via zoom with great information that can be applied both in our healthcare practice and personal lives. We are grateful for our three guest speakers who each shared their knowledge through one hour of discussion followed by 30 minute of questions and answers.

Dr. Vanessa Ruiz on October 1, 2020
Dr. Anne Borik on October 3, 2020
Dr. Michael Amoa-Asare on October 17, 2020

These conferences were superheated by our Education Committee Janice Ami Desiongco, Marissa Sabud Gregorio, Rose Caumban, Maricia Tabuena Chen, Cristy Lou Rigrish, Maria Medida, Alily Burayag including President Donna Maglalang, President elect Melody Orillo, Ajay Manabat, Armida Ranjo & Amy Laxamana.

This is probably the new norm during this pandemic time that we can still gather together virtually to attain educational information and credits .
We will continue to update Filipino American Nurses & Healthcare providers for our future conferences .
